Ultrasonic Testing
Ultrasonic Testing (UT) employs sound energy to perform inspections. Ultrasonic Testing can be used for flaw detection and evaluation (code work), as well as thickness measurement for corrosion checks.
UT-SW (Shearwave) is most commonly used in situations where it would be impractical to shut down work in order to perform radiographic inspection in a specific area. Unlike X-ray, UT-SW requires access to only one side of the specimen, making it a valuable technology in hard to access areas such as boilers, nozzles, and full penetration welds.
Titan Inspection uses the latest state-of-the-art equipment for both UT-Thickness and UT-Shearwave. Our certified technicians are able to provide you with immediate on-site results, reducing your down time.
